Our 2nd food tasting experience was held at the Light of Love Events Place. We accomplished two things that day: explored the place as prospective venue, and crossed out the caterer from our shortlist after the food tasting.
What was served:

Rating Scale:
3 – Wow!
2 – Above Average
1 – OK Lang
0 – NULL
Appetizer – 2: We tried the nachos, not the vegetable sticks. Nachos were crunchy and the salsa was fresh, not stale.
Soup – 1: The soup wasn’t watery, but it tasted a bit too sweet for pumpkin soup.
Salad – NULL: At least the greens weren’t wilted so points for that, but the dressing reminded me of Pisay days and the peachy-orange gunk on our “salad”.
Fish – 1: If it’s newly cooked (they made a fresh second batch), you could actually taste the flavor. But if it’s been sitting on that heating dish for a few hours, somehow it loses its flavor. It’s just bland. Like hospital fish.
Chicken – 1: This was good. Cheesy, and quite tender, and not too dry.
Pork and Beef – NULL: I’ll lump the rating because they seemed to have used the same sauce for both dishes. And it was also bland. Mas may flavor pa yung sauce ng burger steak sa Jollibee. The meat was kind of tough too.
Veggies – NULL: Straight from those frozen bags?
Pasta – 2: This was the one dish we finished and got another portion of. Cheesy, yummy. Reminds me of A Vennetto pasta.
Dessert – 2: The White Pebbles and Black Stones were the best among the 3 – moist with just the right amount of sweetness. The brownies were the usual kind, something you can buy at Brownies Unlimited. The Sylvanna Balls were, hmm, different.

The caterer: The Manila Catering Services
P.S. Yes, I know, I’m publishing Food Tasting #2 before #1. I’m still looking for my notes for that caterer. I might have thrown them out. I’ll try to write from memory next time, if I don’t find the notes.
